This is my story

My aim is to replicate what I see and translate it into something beautiful. In my watercolours I use a unique style to interpret the image, bringing vibrancy and life to my paintings. Through the use of colour and technique I create something that tells the story beyond the visual imagery. My grandfather started me on my journey to paint as a child and I haven’t looked back since.

I am a passionate photographer. I try and bring alive the scene through the use of light and positioning, creating a lasting memory beyond the photograph.

I am a freelance senior graphic designer, artist, photographer and art teacher, tutoring adults and children in and around Croydon and Beckenham. My career spans publishing and advertising for some large agencies, working with Nestle, British Airways, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Bryant Homes, Boden, Mothercare to name a few. The last few years have been spent in the financial and insurance industries. I take the mundane and create something timeless, as well as photograph corporate events.

So who is June Lloyd?

I was born in Reading, Berkshire and moved to London aged 7. I live with my two sons in Croydon, Surrey. I love to paint outdoors, particularly local scenes. I keep myself fit, I’m a keen runner and enthusiastic ceroc dancer amongst many things,

I like to be different. I see beauty in everything around me. I try to capture this and turn it into something meaningful either through the camera lens, on paper, in print or the web.
